My favorite engagement involved helping a major candy producer improve their raw material yield and the efficiency of one of their highest volume production lines. The client team was highly motivated and personable. Together we were able to achieve measured improvements in several mature processes.
Stroud is a true meritocracy. Everyone is genuinely interested in helping their coworkers reach their full potential through honest feedback and coaching. This structure has helped me identify my personal development areas. My development has resulted in improved client relationships and consequentially in relationships outside of work.
My upbringing in northern Maine cultivated a love of the outdoors. In my free time I enjoy backpacking, skiing, and kayaking.
As a native New Englander, I enjoy cheering for my favorite teams, the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics. In recent years they have spoiled us with their success.
Last June, several of my closest friends and I enjoyed some of America's natural wonders on a roadtrip covering over ten thousand miles, from Boston to Death Valley, Seattle, to the Canadian Rockies, and many locations in between. Highlights of the trip included exploring the backcountry of Glacier National Park, the glow of Utah's red rock deserts at sunset, and looking down the length of the Yosemite Valley from a perch atop Half Dome.
My hometown was supported predominantly by the paper and wood products industry, so although I am passionate about the wilderness, I understand that there is a need for sustainable development. I believe that economic utilization of natural resources and conservation are not mutually exclusive.
