Favorite engagement:

18 months working at a very large mill in the North of England. A satisfying mix of managing other Stroud people and delivering work myself. Great process and the teams got some outstanding results, but ultimately it's the relationships with the people that made it my favorite engagement.

What I value most about Stroud:

Difficult question, but again it's probably the people. I get the opportunity to work with some outstanding people both within our company and our clients' companies. I enjoy being able to help people and I value what I learn from others.

Off the clock:

I like practical things and enjoy working on our house and maintaining old cars. In the summer I race a sailing dinghy, and during the winter my wife and I try to get at least a week skiing.

Favorite vacation:

At the beginning of 2007 we spent 2 weeks touring New Zealand's South Island by camper van. Awe inspiring scenery along the coast, glaciers and mountains made for a spectacular trip. Don't miss touring the Malborough vineyards by bike if you find yourself there!

Something unique:

I grew up in a military family and it seems that my childhood of moving around from posting to posting has conditioned me well for the amount of travel that my working week involves!
