In order to retain the best people we provide development opportunities that are not available in alternative careers. Our people know that by working with us they will quickly acquire exceptional skills that set them apart.

Induction

During your first 100 days you will receive 15 days of formal training. This training has been developed to equip you with the skills required to add value to your client engagements. These include analytical methods, presentation skills, leading teams, problem solving and other core competencies.

Stroud Conference

Each year one of our offices hosts the company wide conference. We spend the week sharing best practices, attending training courses, team building, and developing new ideas. Over four days you will be able to select from over 50 modules on subjects as broad as leading change, fierce conversations and cycle time reduction. Each of these modules is designed to provoke new thinking and further our understanding of how to help our clients.

Personal Development Days

From day one, our consultants take control of their own personal development and we put aside at least one day each month to allow our people to work on this. Some may take the opportunity to further develop their language skills, others may find that spending a morning teaching at a school helps develop their ability to articulate concepts.  We also have a programme of small-group development days where a small group, with a Principal or Partner, focus on a particular development topic.

Coaching

We pride ourselves on our open feedback culture and strive never to miss an opportunity to develop. We take the time to help each other, using our experience and insight to accelerate each others development. 

Appraisals

Twice a year you will participate in a formal appraisal that captures your successes, areas for development, and goals for the next 6 months. Every appraisal is reviewed by a partner in the business and every quarter you will have an update on progress.
